A lasting memory…

I have Stood in Your Shoes…

I have been where you are now.  I organised, wrote and spoke at my Dad’s and Husband’s funerals so I understand how important it is to create a service that celebrates and honours your loved one’s life with poems, readings, prayers and music that truly resonate.

You are in a safe pair of hands with me.  Understanding enables me to create and conduct a ceremony that is warm, respectful and unique to your loved one.  A true celebration of their life.

Planning a Funeral…

This is never an easy time. But I will be with you every step of the way. I will meet with you and take the time to understand your loved one and how you and your family felt about them.  That way, each special memory can be shared with dignity, warmth, respect and even humour (if appropriate).

Every service that I deliver is uniquely and respectfully created according to your wishes. If you and your family are more comfortable writing and reading your own words of remembrance that is fine or I can do that on your behalf should you wish.

The ceremony can either be non-religious or contain some religious elements such as hymns, readings or prayers.

If you are worried about what to do or say?  I can help you with empathy, understanding and practical support and together, we will create a service that not only remembers and celebrates your loved one’s life but also provides beautiful lasting memories for those who attend.

What is a Civil Funeral?

A Civil funeral is a ceremony that is based upon the wishes, beliefs and values of your loved one, you and your family .

It’s a unique and very personal celebration of life that allows family and friends to acknowledge the person that has passed. Paying tribute to a life lived.

Often the ceremony takes place at a crematorium or non-religious burial site but any other location can be chosen for example a Chapel, outdoor place or a venue that has been meaningful to the person that has died.
